About Kim Roderiques
Kim Roderiques has been a professional photographer for over twenty years with a specialty in documentary, family portraiture, landscape, and animal photography.
Ms. Roderiques’s photography work was represented in the book: I AM OF CAPE COD, an extensive photography book about 140 people from all walks of life on Cape Cod. Her book: DOGS ON CAPE COD, also a coffee table book, was the subject of an ABC Chronicle television show. DOGS ON CAPE COD received a New England Book award in the photography category.
Max and Charlie Help a Hero was an award winning children’s book co-written by Ms. Roderiques. Kaylee Finds A Friend, a children’s book written by Anne D. LeClaire, features Kim’s photographs illustrating the relationship between a young girl and her best friend, a Golden Retriever.
Ms. Roderiques also produced a documentary with cinematographer Geoffrey Bassett called: Pirouettes, Pliés, and Pets featuring the relationship between dancers and animals. A book followed the documentary chronicling many dancers on Cape Cod.
You can view Kim Roderiques’s work at Gallery Antonia in West Chatham. Her work has been featured in Cape Cod magazine, Chatham magazine, Cape Cod Life, Gourmet magazine, along with various newsletters and online documentaries.
Ms. Roderiques’s other passion is her work she does for shelters. Her proudest achievement was receiving the Guardian Angel award from the MSPCA.
